The New Forest Runners juniors took part in the first Hampshire League race of the season at Farley Mount, Winchester on Saturday 10th October. The weather was perfect for running and the club had a particularly good turn out from the under 13 boys who now hold 2nd place position in the Hampshire club teams.
The under 20 women was represented by Jess Gill who came 18th for her age category and 60th overall out of a field of 129 runners. Hannah Froud and Holly Collier took part in the under 17 women coming an impressive 1st and 5th place.
The under 13 boys team comprised of Sean Harnett who came home in 4th position, Callum Olden in 14th, Ben Nealon in 16th and Billy Richards in 18th.
Alexandra Palotai-Avella was the only girl in the under 13s from the club and she raced home in 17th position.
Finally, Oliver Herbert did amazingly well in the under 11 boys coming 2nd for the club.
