Hampshire Cross Country League #3 - Bournemouth

The New Forest Runners Juniors were well represented at the 3rd Hampshire Cross Country League race of the season which took place on familiar soil at Bournemouth on Saturday 5th December.

The under 11s girls had one lone runner Gracie Hawkins, who finished in a very respectable 12th place, an excellent start to her running career.

The under 11 boys had 9 runners with 4 boys finishing in the top 5! Oliver Herbert finished 2nd, close on his tail was Reuben Kendall in 3rd, followed by Joe Youngs in 4th and Jacob Matthew in 5th. Not far behind them was Patrick Atkinson in 7th, Toby Hawkins in 14th, Oscar Skidmore in 22nd, James Rose came 25th and Jack Rose finished in 26th place.

Alys Swinn and Lucy Webb represented the under 13 girls and came 54th and 55th respectively. Holly Snellgrove took part in the under 15 girls race and finished 58th.

The under 17 women achieved good results with Hannah Froud coming 3rd closely followed by Holly Collier in 4th place. Olivia Snellgrove finished in 29th place and finally Katherine came 32nd. The girls also managed to come 2nd in the team positions.

Jess Gill represented the under 20 women and came 22nd in her age group and 71st overall.

Sean Harnett came 11th in the under 13 boys race, closely followed by Ben Nealon in 18th and Callum Olden in 20th place. Also taking part was D. Ingrem who came 39th, and Christian Goode who finished in 60th place.

The under 15 boys were represented by M. Elmore who finished in 44th place and A. Goode who came 50th.

Finally, the under 17 men had three runners with Conner Lopez finishing 4th, H. Harris 24th and Henry Lowndes coming 32nd.
